In order to sell your property or refinance your current mortgage loan, you will be required by the lender to provide a letter from the management company stating the status of the assessment payments due to the Association. This letter will state whether all assessments are current, if there are any pending charges, if there are any liens that the Association has placed on your unit and the amount, if there are any other obligations you may have to the Association prior to selling your property or refinancing your current mortgage.
